Founded in 1936 in the Rhône region and led since 1971 by Louis Rondot, the third generation of his family to head up the business, the Rondot group is a world leader in the niche market of design, manufacture and sale of mechanical parts and electronic equipment for the hollow glass industry.

The Group sells around a dozen product families that help improve the productivity of hollow glass production lines at a critical stage in the process, when the glass is molten and reliability is vital. The Group has a presence on all continents through its distribution subsidiaries (90% of revenue made outside of France) and has five production sites in France and the UK.

On a glass market that is booming, not least due to the growing attention paid to environmental considerations by end consumers, the Group has a strong brand image based on a reputation for excellence in its products and services.
