Home Strategies Tomorrow fund
Active since 2022, TOMORROW is the first French buyout mid-cap fund with SFDR 9 strategy. Convinced that environmental transition is a value creation driver, the TOMORROW team supports mid-cap companies by investing between €20m and €80m.
The TOMORROW team manages more than €300m and invests alongside management teams across all business sectors. As a majority or minority shareholder, it supports companies with sales usually between €50m and €250m.
Present in any context (LBO, capital development, spin off, carve-out, etc.), TOMORROW focuses on mid-cap companies committed to making environmental transition a value creation driver.
Environmental transition affects companies across all sectors. Therefore, TOMORROW invests in mid-cap companies whose activities and business model evolution during the investment period positively contribute to a selection of Sustainable Development Goals related to the environment.
Companies play a critical role in the transition and have much to gain. Reducing their impacts serves as a performance driver, sustainable new offerings boost growth, and a strong environmental commitment aids in attracting and retaining talent. Thus, adressing the environmental transition enhances the strategic value of the business and reduces its risk profile.
The universe of supported business is structured around two types of company profile: Solvers and Pilgrims.
Business and purpose are linked to one or several environment-related Sustainable Development Goals:
The company has strong potential to improve its footprint and/or that of its customers:
TOMORROW prioritizes supportive engagement as a key value: governance is non-intrusive, the management team remains independent, with access to dedicated and responsive contacts. If needed, a partner focused on transformation can provide support on operational issues.
The TOMORROW team offers specialized support on strategic and operational aspects (external growth, international expansion, networking, structuring and reporting, etc.) as well as on issues related to environmental transition (roadmap and goals, eco-design, reshoring, circular economy model, carbon trajectory, biodiversity, CSRD implementation, etc.) with dedicated resources.
